Steve Jobs Monument Removed in Russia when Apple CEO Came Out as Gay

A large iPhone monument erected for Steve Jobs at his passing in St. Petersburg has been taken down by Russian Officials in response to Tim Cook, the new CEO, coming out as openly gay.

Homosexuality is extremely looked down upon in Russian. It is 100% legal to be discriminated upon by any organization or company in the country. While it was decriminalized in 1993 to be gay in the privacy of your home, it’s a different story when you walk out the front door.
